The Dark Princess (Loki X Reader)

Chapter 1
Waking the beast

       
       The archeologist dust the site carefully, trying not to break anything of great value. His eyes noticed something and he moved his brush up to the spot.  After a moment, he found what looked to be a keyhole.
"Hey guys! Come in here" he called. His friends entered and he showed them the hole. "Have any of you found a key yet?" They shook their head and he frowned. He looked back at the keyhole  and moved his hand towards it, he dusted off more of it with his bare hand. He felt the engravings and dusted it off even more. He could see random markings and his friends came closer. They all started working on this wall, dusting it trying to see if there is anything else hidden beneath the dust. After hours of work they had found that areas around the wall were fake as they started getting rid of it they saw that the wall became a large cube.
"I wonder whats inside?"
"Treasures maybe?" They all smiled, greedily at the possibilities of treasures.
"We need to find that key. "They all nodded in agreement. They all separated and began their tiresome search in the underground tunnels for hours, until meeting back in the main room. The last person entered, but as he did he tripped over something. He fell to the ground with a hard 'thump'. He blinked a couple times and noticed a dark brass key hidden in the sand and dust. His fingers delicately plucked it from the earth and showed his friend his findings. They all surrounded the cube and the one walked forward and put the key into the keyhole. He twisted it and backed away from the cube. They could hear the soft clicks, melodious hum, and turning of gears from the box. The door creaked open and they all waited for someone to open it fully.
"What are we waiting for?" One of them said and took a single step forward, as his foot hit the ground a blinding light filled the room. It threw all the men across the room, slamming their bodies against the walls. A young man with pure white hair appeared from the box, his clothes those of an asguardian warrior, his armor black and grey, his face scarred and an smirk plastered on his face. He let out a crazed laugh.
"Idiot mid guardians! Your stupidity shall be the death of you!" He sneered, a ball of black light wrapped around him and he disappeared into the shadows. All the men were stunned, after a moment another figure came from the cube. A young woman, also styling asgaurdian armor appeared, her black hair dancing around her shoulders.
"Oi! Where is he?" She growled. Everyone stayed quiet. "Where is Aserith, mortals!" She snarled.
"He left in a black ball of light" One of them squeaked, finally snapping out of his stunned state. She sighed and pulled out a round silver object from her pocket.
"Oi. It's me babe." A muffled voice replied, but was unheard to everyone except the warrior. "Yeah I know, Aserith has escaped." Silence oozed from the these air. A voice came back from the object and the girl made her way out of the underground tunnels. She stood back on earth for the first time in one hundred years.
"I'm back earth. This time I won't fail you." She mumbled. The girl turned to the sound of an engine. She saw a young man emerge from a car, he smirked at the sight of her.
"Love the clothes by the way, haven't seen those in such long time. Welcome back, lady (name) it's been a while hasn't it?" the young man said.
"Oi. Michael, indeed it has. Now don't we have a world to save?" (name) replied. She got in the car and buckled herself in. "Where are the others?"
"They wanted to get away from one another."
"Did they finally get on each others last nerves?"
"That and you were gone, not that I'd like to admit this but we need you to keep us sane." Michael replied.
"So you do need me, must be absolutely vile to hear. Anyway who's the closes to us?"
"Your favorite knight."
"Which side?"
"Light."
"Ah, and where is she?"
"Germany"
"Germany……aren't we in Egypt?"
"Yes."
"This is going to be one long car ride" (name) muttered.
